Our client specialises in providing quality Freight Forwarding services. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cartage Coordinator to join their Melbourne team.
Applicants will have at least two years experience working within the International Logistics industry specifically in a Cartage Coordination capacity and possess in depth knowledge of both Air & Sea Cargo movements.
Daily duties will include:
- Monitoring Customs Releases
- Preparation of Cartage documentation
- General customer Service
- Direct communication with customers & transport service providers
- Assist with registrations
- General Administrative duties
- Meeting set deadlines
- Any other duties as detailed by the management team
To be successful you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- At least 2 - 3 years experience within the Australian forwarding industry
- Possess an in depth knowledge of both Air and Sea Cargo movements, FCL, LCL & Airfreight
- Organized & motivated
- Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
- Cyberfreight experience preferred, EDI Cargowise experience an advantage
- Strong work ethic
- High attention to detail
