Our client specialises in providing quality Freight Forwarding services. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cartage Coordinator to join their Melbourne team. Applicants will have at least two years experience working within the International Logistics industry specifically in a Cartage Coordination capacity and possess in depth knowledge of both Air & Sea Cargo movements.Daily duties will include:Monitoring Customs ReleasesPreparation of Cartage documentationGeneral customer ServiceDirect communication with customers & transport service providersAssist with registrations General Administrative dutiesMeeting set deadlinesAny other duties as detailed by the management teamTo be successful you will possess the following skills and attributes:At least 2 - 3 years experience within the Australian forwarding industryPossess an in depth knowledge of both Air and Sea Cargo movements, FCL, LCL & Airfreight Organized & motivatedExcellent communication skills both written & verbalCyberfreight experience preferred, EDI Cargowise experience an advantageStrong work ethicHigh attention to detailAn attractive salary is on offer along with a friendly team environment. Applicants will have at least two years experience working within the International Logistics industry specifically in a Cartage Coordination capacity and possess in depth knowledge of both Air & Sea Cargo movements.

Daily duties will include:

  • Monitoring Customs Releases
  • Preparation of Cartage documentation
  • General customer Service
  • Direct communication with customers & transport service providers
  • Assist with registrations 
  • General Administrative duties
  • Meeting set deadlines
  • Any other duties as detailed by the management team

To be successful you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • At least 2 - 3 years experience within the Australian forwarding industry
  • Possess an in depth knowledge of both Air and Sea Cargo movements, FCL, LCL & Airfreight 
  • Organized & motivated
  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
  • Cyberfreight experience preferred, EDI Cargowise experience an advantage
  • Strong work ethic
  • High attention to detail
