Our client is an International Freight & Logistics company who pride themselves on their corporate culture and their highly professional level of service to their clients. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Licensed Customs Broker to join their Melbourne based team. The role will be responsible for all manner of customs brokerage duties and quarantine clearances as required by the Customs division.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Classification and Customs / AQIS clearance of import shipments
- Preparations & Lodgements
- Calculations of Customs Duties & Taxes
- Processing Tariff Advices, Refunds & Drawbacks
- Keeping up to date with ABF & DAWR requirements
- Mentoring Classifiers
- Any other Duties as required
To be successful you will possess the following skills & attributes:
- Customs Broker License
- AQIS, DAWR, NCCC & AEPCOM Accredited
- CPD & CBC compliant
- Knowledge of Customs software
- Proactive, Positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
