Ideally you will be able to demonstrate end to end processing of Import FAK consignments. We are seeking an experienced Import Sea Freight Operator with a strong Customer Service focus. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate end to end processing of Import FAK consignments. If you have excellent attention to detail and you are passionate about providing excellent high quality service then here is the opportunity you have been looking for!

Your daily key duties and responsibilities will consist of but not be limited to:

  • Providing high quality customer service
  • Job registrations
  • FAK consignment processing and reporting 
  • Tracking of consignments and keeping customers updated
  • Invoicing
  • Liaising with overseas offices and agents
  • Liaising with consignees / shippers 
  • Co-ordinating release of shipment documents to outside Brokerage firms 

To be considered you must possess the following attributes:

  • Minimum 2 years Freight Forwarding within the Australian market
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • SCA Regulations Knowledge
  • EDI Cargowise1 experience
  • Knowledge of Australian Customs and Quarantine procedures
  • Strong Communication skills and a high level of attention to detail
