An Australian owned and operated global logistics business is currently on the hunt for their next Cartage Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cartage Coordinator to join this well established freight forwarding team.

As the Cartage Coordinator you will have front-line customer contact as well as liaising with external transport companies and suppliers within this small but highly experienced and successful team. Arranging FCL and LCL deliveries, predominantly in Brisbane, you will be required to use the companies extensive internal systems to drive workflow and ensure our customers receive consistent high levels of communication and service. General administration tasks requiring fast accurate data entry. Albeit as part of a team you will however be expected to be able to handle your own desk without the need for micro management.

Key requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Prior proven cartage experience
• Exposure to international freight forwarding within Australia
• Valid manual drivers license
• 2 years experience in transport operations
• Knowledge of EDI transmission and Cargowise
