The business

Our client is a is wholesale freight forwarding company with over 50 offices around the globe and a strong agent network covering all ports.  Currently seeking a dedicated full-time Export Air Operations and Customer Service Operator to join their friendly and supportive team in the Tullamarine branch.

The position

You will handle all Export Air Operations, working closely with their clients creating appropriate Export Air Operations solutions. Interdepartmental communication, dealing with external stakeholders such as transport companies, overseas agents, airlines and other suppliers. Timely processing and lodgement of all paperwork, handling the invoicing and negotiating of better rates with clients and suppliers.  

You must possess

• Outstanding phone manner and written communication
• Proven experience quoting, booking, registering and closing of jobs
• Strong time management and ability to prioritise
• Experience with freight handing software systems
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite of programs experience
• Appropriately accredited
• A great attitude and willingness to help out others in office when needed
