Our Client is a Sydney based forwarder who have a need for a Senior Accounts All Rounder to join the team.
To be considered for this demanding role you must have a solid background working in an accounts team within the Australian Freight Forwarding Industry.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will be but not limited to:
- Updating and maintaining accounting journals, ledgers and other records
- Detailing Financial Business Transactions eg. cash receipts, expense vouchers, accounts payable
into the computer system using a defined computer program(Expedient)
- Reconciling payments for overseas agents
- Compiling data and preparing various reports
- Reconciling petty cash
- Performing bank reconciliation
- Performing reconciliation for inter-company transactions
The successful applicant must posses above average communication skills, at least 5 years local experience in a similar role, computer literate, well organised and strong attention to detail.
Most importantly all applicants must possess a friendly and positive attitude and a desire to work in a productive team environment.
