Our client is an International Freight Forwarder, located in the Alexandria area, close to public transport and with onsite Parking, they have a great team environment and a company that looks after their employees.  Their vacancy is for a Compile Classifier. Your duties & responsibilities will include:Register direct shipment in in-house customs system , ensure all data is entered correctly. Checking shipment info against Bill of Lading / Arrival notice / ICS Chase shipping documents with over-seas agent or client or shipper. Ensure documents are correctly linked, and all information is correctCompiling and classifying goods Use Tariff concessions, Tariff advise, Valuation advise for imported goodsApplication of Free Trade AgreementLodge documents for processing Prepare Customs Entry in our in-house system.Notify client for any issues with their documents, advice regarding import documentation, Customs procedures, and Quarantine concerns and requirements.To be successful you must be:Computer literate - EDI CargoWiseExcellent Communication Skills Local Experience in a Similar role This is a fantastic opportunity that will provide the right candidate the opportunity to become a Licensed Customs Broker.     Australia - NSW Sydney CBD, Inner West & Eastern Suburbs
