The company is looking for a customer service representative to join their team based in Botany. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to further develop their skills and career in logistics and freight services. You will join a supportive team in a fun, friendly work environment and be in a position to provide a superior customer service experience for clients.
Your key responsibilities will include;
- Manage and deliver superior customer service to a portfolio of clients
- Liaise and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Arrange bookings with shipping lines, ensuring shipments are executed in the most cost/time efficient manner
- Monitor and update shipment status reports
- Import operations, registration, lodging sea cargo and managing documentations
- Support the sales and management team as required
To be successful in this role it is essential you have;
- 3 years freight forwarding experience
- Quote management experience
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- High level of computer literacy and experience in using cargo wise software
- Ability to liaise effectively with management, staff, clients and stakeholders
- A passion for client care and ability to work towards KPIs and targets
- An adaptable and flexible "can do" attitude
- Excellent phone and email communication skills
