This is a family owned and operated Freight Forwarder based in Tullamarine. They have a wonderful company culture and work closely as a strong team, offering superb customer service and bespoke freight forwarding solutions. Due to a resignation they are now looking for an Export Sea & Airfreight Operator. 

The role

As a passionate Export Sea & Air freight Operator you will be communicating closely with customers informing them of all relevant information pertaining to their freight. Dealing with the associated relevant paperwork (albeit a paperless environment), work with Customs, overseas agents, consignees and of course other internal departments. From time to time the other departments might also call on your knowledge of Import Sea & Airfreight. As this is a close knit team you really need to be a team player, understand the nuances of a multicultural environment and strive to be a happy employee 🙂

• Proven quality customer service experience
• Job registrations
• Airfreight Operations
• FCL, LCL & FAK Operations 
• Consignment tracking
• Liaising with overseas offices and agents
• Liaising with consignees
• Preparation of documents for internal departments & Customs
• Outstanding communication both written and verbal
• EDI Cargowise
