Our client is a highly reputable freight forwarding company based in Port Botany. They are market leaders in moving cargo internationally and pride themselves on providing high quality service to their customers. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of import sea freight operations and customer service.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Providing superior customer service to all clients
• Registering import sea freight shipments
• Lodging sea cargo automation
• Chasing relevant documentation from agents, suppliers and clients
• Tracking all shipments from start to end
• Checking transhipment details with shipping lines
• Invoicing clients
  
  

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

• Import sea freight and customer service experience
• High level communication skills – both verbal and written 
• EDI Cargo Wise knowledge and experience
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment  
• Proven track record in achieving KPI’s
• Experience in processing and completing client invoices
• High level attention to detail
